My skills are slightly better than that of grandma.

So I have a question. You know those "e-card" pictures with witty little sayings, comments, opinions, etc, that everyone is always posting on FB? Do they have a name? They seem different than a "meme" and I have no idea what they're called. Besides "e-card" maybe but that sounds stupid.

One misconception within a lot of people who are "good" at the internet is that only image macros (multicolored sunburst type background with a picture at the center with white Impact font text with a black boarder) are "memes", when in fact a meme is anything that is the following:

Most anything can be a meme. Tacos are a meme in Phatmass. So is the fiddler and it's many amusing fiddled sayings.
