New Postulant For The Sisters Of St. Francis Of Perpetual Adoration

I looked at the SSFPA website today and noticed that a new postulant named Shaina entered recently after attending the Franciscan University at Steubenville. This is the same community that alrichey53091 and JTheresa entered in 2010 and are currently 2nd year novices in.

I believe (and I could be wrong), that Shaina has been there for almost a year, and should be receiving the habit soon. I think they just updated that portion of the website. But, Lord willing, they may have someone/several someones entering soon!

They have 2 candidates who will enter this month.

Shaina will receive the habit and her new name in a week from tomorrow! That's a private ceremony in the morning, but I will see her after first vows that afternoon. Sr. Mary Grace (alrichey) and Sr. Lucia (JTheresa) will be 2nd year novices. The two candidates will enter on the first Sunday in September.

The time of temporary vows in the SSFPA lasts 5 years, so she will make her final profession in 2015.
