I know. I just burn with hatred all the time.
I once tried to list out all the kinds of people I hate, but my voice got tired.
So I tried writing it down, but then I broke my hand.
Today I went to buy dowel rods and have decided I also hate people who wear red shirts at Target even though they are not employees.
They should all be destroyed.
along with velociraptors that know how to open doors.

Well, I sure hope you're used to burning, because that's exactly what Lil'Red is going to put you through!

You're only saying this because your mind is clouded with sin. I'll pray for you :)

It will be pure red, despite the physical difficulties of achieving this. Lil'Red will likely use some of her red spells out of her red spell book to achieve this.

Prolly should have read all two pages but if the kid just had one 'wrong' answer why should he fail the whole class? How could anybody with any commonsense support that?

Yes, Virginia, being gay is abnormal. So is having red hair or conceiving after 40.
According to the Swedes, my observations prove my hatred and dissing of not only homos, but also gingers and old preggers.
Oh Swedes.
I will agree to sensitivity training for the gays and the old preggers. But not the redheads. they are the worst. Hatred of redheads yesterday. Hatred of redheads today. Hatred of redheads forever!!!
Hey! I'm a ginger! :irish: ( 'cause I'm Irish!) I ain't abnormal. 2% of the population... maybe; but abnormal... :nono:

I don't really think you all are disordered. I was saying the exact things that I am told about homosexuals here and saying it about Catholics. If you really found it so offensive then maybe your Church's position on homosexuals isn't as loving as you seem to believe.
The individual person is not disordered, his sexual inclination toward the same-sex is. The disordered nature is not a sin, but acting on the disordered nature is. Is it fair that some people have to carry this cross? No, but then again a lot of things in life aren't fair.

There should be nothing offensive about using the word, actually. It sort of reminds me of using "submit" in relation to husbands and wives - on the surface it looks offensive but if you toss out the political correctness it really isn't.

I don't trust this story as it seems that the writer is attempting to do a sleight-of-hand. Reading the article it seems like the student was doing poorly and they provide no context as to what he actually said or in what context the teacher used whatever he said to fail him. If the student said that he had a personal religious belief that homosexuality was abnormal (in the non-literal sense of implying a normative claim) then the teacher failing him on these grounds would be outrageous. On the other hand if he answered an actual biology question about the phenomena of homosexuality and he denied that homosexuality was a phenomena that occurred in non-human animals on the a priori grounds that it was abnormal and therefore answered a question factually wrong and therefore failed a test and therefore failed biology then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. I don't know. I feel like it is probably the latter since the article was so vague but maybe I'm wrong.

Having followed the debate as a swede myself I have understood that the teacher wanted to show a movie about homosexuality just for the pupil afterwards the lecture as to correct her opinions regarding homosexuality. Everything after the curriculum which the teacher blame everything on. Which is totally right. The teacher has right. The problem is the curriculum which opposing the swedish constutition on free speech.

I didn't say it was offensive. I said that if he found that same language applied to Catholics to be so offensive then maybe the position isn't as loving as he likes to believe. I see what you're saying about the distinction between the person and the orientation, but if the individual has the disordered orientation then doesn't that apply to the person as well?

No no, I know you didn't say it was offensive - I added that as an afterthought, sort of thinking out loud.

I would say it doesn't apply to the person because we aren't defined by our sexual urges.
