One of my old friends joined the Nashville Dominicans in 2010 and is making her First Profession this weekend. So proud of her. Her religious name is Susanna. Please keep her in prayer!


I'm having a few problems with controlling unwanted emotions and attitudes, such as jealousy and selfishness. I'm trying to fight these feelings, but they're going to be hard to beat. It's probably really stupid of me, but I try so hard all the time to make people proud of me and to repay kindness, and just when I feel like things are okay and I'm doing things right, something happens to turn it around and to make me feel so much less than I should. I'm not very competitive, but I'm constantly feeling like I need to compete with people just to achieve the happiness of others.

I feel so incredibly stupid writing this, but I'm struggling and really need prayers. Keeping you all in my intentions. Thanks, pham.
