I might have to retract that statement. Ain't no way I'm getting there.

Yeah, when I was going for 6k a little while ago I almost didn't make it even giving myself over a full day. Technically, I didn't make it by midnight eastern time, but I made it by midnight pacific, lol... I can't remember what I started with, but I'm pretty sure it was under 5950.

Oh, also, one of my rules was to try not to spam any threads, but TheresaThoma ended up making us a chat thread, which technically was not spamming a thread as it stuck to the OP, but it still felt like cheating.

Lucky. I wish my posts were double.

I'm staying up all night, taking a nap in the morning from about 9-10:30ish unless I'm not feeling tired at that point, staying up the rest of the day. I really want to try the 5-6 naps a day sleep pattern and see how much stuff I can get done. :bounce:

I've always wanted to try that. But you have to be super regimented in taking the naps, which wouldn't work for my schedule.

Well, I'm currently technically unemployed. The few odd jobs I do during the week as well as my writing can be scheduled around the naps, so I may try it...

It would take me a few days to get onto the schedule I want... I'm gonna do some research on it today: negative side effects, best times to sleep/wake, etc.

I think, if nothing else, it will get me used to falling asleep as soon as I get to bed, which has always been difficult for me. I'm generally awake for at least 30 minutes after prayers, sometimes hours without being able to fall asleep.

Well good luck!

Back to the topic, don't think I'll reach it today either. I'm ashamed of myself.

This will mess up your props/comments ratio. It will make you look very bad.

I know, right?

I don't get props though. I'm not funny.

You have a ratio of one prop for every 3.013265306 posts. Better than mine.
