Has anyone heard of it? I just read it. It seemed pretty good. I haven't been able to find out if the Vonnegut guy wrote anything else, though.

I think that's a different Vonnegut.

Read it in high school, and enjoyed it, but I'm probably gonna read it again to refresh my memory.

My s/n is from a Vonnegut novel "Cat's Cradle," which is a pretty razzle dazzle read. I'm kind of a fan-girl. I'd recommend "Mother Night," tho that's probably one of my favorite books from any author, and I just read "Bluebeard" which is about a fallen abstract-expressionist and I really enjoyed that one too. His short stories are pretty rad as well, "2 B R 0 2 B" and "Harrison Bergeron."

These sincere responses are giving me a sad and making me feel like a prick. I know that Vonnegut is a famous I've read a few of his shorter things. I was just trolling/trying to give winchester an aneurysm by pretending to be under the impression that I had just 'discovered' an obscure author.

I just remember the scene from "Back to School" where Thornton Melon (the character played by Rodney Dangerfield) has to write a report on Kurt Vonnegut, so he hires Kurt Vonnegut to write it for him.

I have Slaughterhouse Five, but haven't read it. With the size of my "to-read" pile, I'll get to it in 2017.
