Amppax
Alcohol smells of elderberries. To see what it does to people when you're on the outside is very enlightening. Straight edge and proud. Amppax
It's the darn censor. Alcohol s u c k s . And I'm proud to always have my wits and have the ability to enjoy my life without it.
Are you saying that EVERYONE who drinks loses control and their ability to enjoy life? Because that is the not so subtle implication of this statement. My grandfather is, God willing, turning 90 this August. He has 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and has lived an incredible life. He is, without question, the holiest, happiest, and most successful man that I know. He has, for as long as I remember, drank 1-2 beers at dinner every night. Granted, alcohol can be abused, and not everyone who drinks is my grandfather, or the many other people who drink responsibly. However, that's not alcohol's fault, no more than guns are responsible for murders. The fault lies with individuals who make choices. You can blame alcohol for that, but your blame is misplaced.
I hate the taste of it in most cases. Of course if one drinks enough that's not a concern, but by the time that happens its time to stop. Lest one get drunk, which God hates... Wine is good though. Jack and Coke is also good. And the Cake Vodka mixed with Coke taste like vanilla coke which is also good.
Ice_nine
If God hates when people get drunk, why did Jesus whip up some good wine when the partygoers were apparently already a little tipsy. Srs question
