BTW, we are in the middle of the novena for the Solemnity of our Holy Father Saint Francis, so don't forget to pray! (Even the dominicans are allowed to pray to St Francis )

I check the blog of The Poor Clares of Barhamsville, Virginia sometimes. They have a few new posts for this month. One recently just entered, and the last I heard is that they are expecting two more to enter soon. Here is the blog:

I love their blog, but did not know about the other approaching entrances! How blessed they are for all their vocations!

When I first began discerning, Franciscan orders were the only ones that I looked at, and I think they're beginning to make a comback They need more Franciscans in Canada.

I only know of The Franciscans of Halifax - whom I'm hoping to visit in a few months. It should be interesting and I would like to learn more information. Their website looks like it hasn't been updated for a long time and doesn't give a lot of information about their apostolate. Besides that, there's a Poor Clare convent in British Colombia.

Father, I meant to reply to this post of yours a while ago .. t[i]hat is so amazing you were in that movie!!![/i]
It is soo good! I need to watch it again! It is so authentic too. I love to watch movies on saints in the original language the saint spoke, even if I have to read subtitles. I can understand a little Italian though .. it is such a cool language! Pace e Bene! Buona festa!
