When he grows it out, he has some extra-wavey-to-mildly-curly action going on. I have gel, but I don't normally need to use it since my hair is the way it is. Because you're talking to me. I hadn't really thought much of a curl-specific salon so much as a curl-knowledgeable hairdresser. My hairdresser is super fab and has wicked curly hair himself so he's always been good to me.I feel weird walking in and asking that they not shampoo me with their product or straighten my hair for cutting but... whatever: IT'S MY HAIR. If you don't want to do a proper curly cut, you don't want my business. I understand using a diffuser to dry me faster so you can get to cutting, but I want it cut curly and dry.That's another thing: Random Concern #234 that seems to detract from the spirit of shaving my head in the first place -- what the heck am I going to do when it's like 3 inches long and wanting to curl?!
