PhuturePriest
:hehe: EVEN BETTER. A lot of women would kill to have locks like Vince Neil and Bon Jovi. All of this reminds me of what a guy said once: "Music has died. Remember the '80s? A bunch of trannies with switchblades on motorcycles? It was exciting!" missionseeker
I've tried this and it does work, to an extent. I tend to get a lot more flattening up top so I'm left with gorgeous curls in the bottom half, born of really limp and lame looking hair in the top half. :ohno: YES. Hahaha! I end up with REALLY cute bed head and some badass curls on the bottom, but as soon as I have to look presentable, I'm still challenged. :hehe: My hair also sleeps freely... for now. :ninja: WRAPPED AROUND THE NECK IS THE WORST! I HATE that feeling. It happens to me most often when I sleep in a hoodie. (That's probably my own fault though since I'm sure I tug at it so I won't lie on top of it. Hate hate hate lying on top of it -- and that's SO easy to do.) I've been doing most of my showering at night lately because that's when I go to the gym. :( As soon as I can justify a second shower in the morning, I might start doing that. Or if I can figure out a way to do an ACV rinse in the sink without making a huge mess... Maybe you can get one of those plastic storage bins and use that? Lil Red
I tried plopping this morning. Not sure how I feel about it... hahaha me too! edit: pics. My hair is dry, but franny says that's because I should have used oil + light mousse on my wet head instead of spray leave-in conditioner, and then oil after I plopped. MissScripture
But why do we need to get everything off? Isn't part of what we wash away with shampoo the natural oils that are there to protect our hair? And don't we end up producing more oils to make up for those stripped away? And further, don't many people use products to imitate what the oils would naturally do if we didn't strip them away? (And for the record, I use shampoo)
MissScripture
No one ever trusts the scientists :idontknow: Or, they have no issue with the science, but don't like what the result does to their hair. Or, they don't trust the company paying the scientists.

Everyone has got their price, especially scientists. :idontknow: I don't need to be told how soap works. I flooping make it. O RLY? That's cool, do you make soap at the professional level, or on the at home for funsies level? Either way that's cool!
