BigJon16
Soft shell, hard shell, Corn, Flour--its all relative. The true Taco shell is whichever one that makes you feel good. Everybody is different. MIkolbe, it is very intolerable of you to say that one type of shell is "more manly" than the other. I think that this is a sign of your own Flour Tortilla-Phobia. I sure wish people on the internet would be more tolerant to the Flour Tortilla community.

Ed Normile
If you look at it scientifically, soft tacos provide no resistance when picked up, much easier for a woman or a limp wristed person too handle as a man needs the resistance that a hard corn shell provides too not squeeze the stuffing out of the soft shell. Even grammatically it makes sense, as soft relates to limp or weak and hard as in a corn shell taco goes along with a mans hard muscles and calloused hands etc. ed
IcePrincessKRS
You should count yourselves lucky to get any tacos at all instead of complaining about flour tortillas.
LinaSt.Cecilia2772
There is a definite art form to making and eating tacos whether they be soft, crispy, in a flour tortilla or a corn one. And this is coming from a 100% Mexican girl who has eaten WAAAAAYYYYY too many tacos in her life. Had some for dinner tonight actually.

[/quote] That's just the thing... I only get tacos on rare, rare occasions. I have to make the most of them every time, and so choosing flour tortillas is just a waste of a good thing.
