Thank you all so much. It's been one heck of a month. I'll let you know how the tests pan out. We already have me in with the endocrinologist.

It is good to know that you are already scheduled so you can know as soon as possible. We will of course continue to pray. I am in the chat if you want someone to talk to.

PM-ers have the best prayers. They've gotten me through a lot. Same with my sister/the Nashies. :) I hope they can get everything figured out quickly, at least what the problem is. I'll pray for the doctors who are working on your case, too. Wish I could give you a big hug!

Thanks so much, and it's so true. Ugh, I NEED a big hug too. :(

Doesn't help that today, one month ago, is the day my great-grandmother died. It has been one heck of a year...

See? And I'm the person to go to for a big hug, too. This half of a country gap is very inconvenient.

I am sorry that you are having a bad year. It gets better, though; just wait and see.

So right now, I can't lay on my side because my arm is in so much pain. My fingers (especially the knuckles) are really stiff. Everything is achy. A few minutes ago, I had a twitch going on in my leg, and I just can't do this. It's scary. I can't sleep. I feel horrible. I did so well today too, emotionally, and I'm trying so hard not to cry right now, it's ridiculous.

Idk what I'm going to do, honestly.

:ohno: If you need to cry, cry. It's okay. It's hard and it stinks and sometimes a good cry helps. It's scary when your world is turned upside down like this. My favorite prayer in such circumstances is simply, "Jesus, I trust in you," which is really just as much of a reminder to me as it is a prayer to Jesus. And remember that Jesus is with you, no matter what.

Sending love and prayers.

I know how frustrating it can be to be limited in your choices of sleeping positions... especially if you generally fall asleep in the same position every night. Do you have some extra pillows you can use to make yourself more comfortable? That's what I had to do when I was forced to sleep on my back or else be woken several times a night with severe spasms and pain in my back. I used a block of foam I happened to have covered by a pillow and put it under my knees. I also put pillows under each of my arms which somehow made it infinitely more comfortable to sleep on my back. Maybe you can try something similar.

I hope that you can find a way to get comfortable enough to get some sleep, because having enough sleep can make a huge difference in your emotional state.

I'm still praying for you! Stay strong

Edited for spelling... so tired.

If you feel the need to cry, do so. I cry. It is not something that somehow emasculates me or shames you. Crying doesn't make you weak, it proves your humanity. Crying is a good thing when it is necessary, and right now it is.

I just prayed a Rosary and asked for the intercession of some Saints for you. Saint Padre Pio and Saint John Vianney are very reliable. They helped me in times of crisis before, and I am sure they will help you out too.

Thanks so much, guys. I feel emotionally better today, not physically exactly, but I have friends coming over today, so hopefully I'll be able to take my mind off things for a little while.

As far as an update: I didn't mention on Tuesday that the doctor was concerned because my knuckles have spots of red on them, so that's just lovely. I am being tested for pretty much everything, my tests are tomorrow morning, but here are a few things that are looking possible:

Juvenile Psoriasis Rheumatoid Arthritis
Lupus
Diabetes (Interestingly, a lot of my symptoms go hand in hand with diabetes, but I am missing a lot of the normal diabetes symptoms as well.)
Pituitary Tumor
Cushing's Disease
Lyme Disease

I will continue to pray that they find out what it is and cure it as immediately as possible. In the meantime, please try to enjoy yourself as much as possible. Your friends visiting will be a good thing for you.
