Needing Prayers- An Explanation

Hi guys. I owe a big explanation to you all. As you know, since last night, things have gone very downhill with my shoulder stuff.

Last night after PT, I started getting tingly, twitchy, and achy everywhere. My ankles, knees, wrists, elbows, and other joints of the like are stiff now. The pain has spread. In the beginning, it was only my left shoulder. Now it has spread to both shoulders, my neck, and all the other places I listed. We moved my appointment with the primary doctor to today, and so we went.

To make a long story short, I was trying so hard not to cry during the appointment, all I could do is clutch on to my San Damiano Crucifix around my neck. I am being tested for pretty much every possible infection, and everything else. I have to fast and have my tests tomorrow for all that. I am being sent to a rheumatologist and an endocrinologist. My doctor has a bad feeling that my PCOS might not be PCOS, but be related to this.

Basically, my goal is to not be in a wheelchair by my 14th birthday in a month. I need a lot of prayers. Please. I don't know what else to do. I just need prayers badly.

So sorry to hear this, FCC. I will offer Mass for you today and keep you in my intentions.

You sound like a very strong person; don't lose courage or hope. Praying for your total healing.

I will continue to pray for you. I know there is little I can do, but if you ever need someone to talk to I am always available.

Okay, for some reason I thought you were 17. But that's totally irrelevant. Lots and lots of prayers for you! I'll say my morning prayer, tomorrow for you. (And now that I said that I will say it for you, I won't forget to do it, so you're helping me grow holier, too.) And if you don't mind, I'll tell my sister and ask the Nashville Dominicans to pray for you, too.

I get that a lot. :) Even in real life I look older than I am. I would totally love if the Nashies were praying for me
Thanks so much.

Oh, and I doubt I'll be in a wheelchair, I just worry. A lot. Since the pain has spread.

I'll say the rosary for you right now as soon as I finish typing. There's nothing worse then having something wrong but the doctors keep saying they can't find the cause.

I will pray for you too, and light some candles for you at Our Lady's shrine.

"Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or he will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings." - St Francis de Sales.

"May God be with you always and in every place." - Blessing of St Clare.

Thank you all so much. It's been one heck of a month. I'll let you know how the tests pan out. We already have me in with the endocrinologist.
