PhuturePriest
Well, everyone for me (Including Brother Fidelis Maria of the Franciscan Brothers Minor) feels I am called to Monastic/Contemplative/active life. The Franciscan Brothers Minor pray about eight hours a day, which is more than many Monastic Communities, and yet they are also active. Hopefully praying eight hours a day is more fun with other people. By myself I would be bored, but I imagine praying in Community would be more fulfilling for me. ToJesusMyHeart
FP, is your icon a picture of you? If so, how do you already have your clerics?

Here is his wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Morris_(priest)

However, for future reference, Seminarians in their first year wear their Priest collar and clerics/cassocks. This is why you sometimes see Priests who look like they are seventeen. They are actually Seminarians wearing clerics because it is advised to get used to wearing them. And also, they of course look razzle dazzle. ToJesusMyHeart
Oh, I have several seminary friends who are in their clerics. They're always so very excited to get fitted and sized! And they do really look SPIFFY! It makes the romantic inside of me frown because they're so darn adorable, and so darn unavailable. Then again, I myself am unavailable, so this inward struggle when seeing cleric-snazzing seminarians is really something to behold.
This is really interesting-I knew some 1st year seminarians at school, and they were so excited about getting measured for their cassocks, even thought they tried to act all unaffected. I guess they make them wear the collar so they can get used to behaving respectably in public? .....And on that thought, all college boys should have to wear clerics around for a time period, so that they don't act ridiculous in public. Eowyn
There should be an option for confused. I'm drawn to both Cloistered and Active/Contemplative. Still discerning, though
