Innocent
FuturePriest, if you do have a vocation to the priesthood and do indeed manage to be ordained some day, then you must admit that there does exist a chance, however slight, that you could be made a Monsignor or even a Bishop sometime in the distant future. And if that does happen, then after that there's still a chance (however slim the combined probability of the two successive events might be) that you might go higher up, and yet higher, in the hierarchy, if you get my meaning. So what I mean to say is that, if you do find yourself in some office of great dignity in the future, you will be sure to have enemies and detractors, and they will be sure to search all avenues of expression, including the internet, for material (however silly, and however far in the distant past) to use against you, Of course, a post such as this in Phatmass' Lame Board that you made in you adolescence probably can't harm you in an advanced stage of your career much more than making you look slightly silly, but then again, who knows? It might very well be the last straw that broke the camel's back. Would you want to place ammunition in the hands of your FutureEnemies? Think well on this and have a care what you post on the internet. (I might have intended the above passages to be funny, or I might have intended them to be serious. But now I cannot seem to remember what my original intention was. So I leave you to figure it out.) Edited July 3, 2012 by Innocent

I'm trying to use the past 1 year and four months of religious discernment into good use and try to discern whether or not this was serious... Well, I think it was at least half serious. In which case, if my enemies can't enjoy some good-natured humor than they are no fun. Besides, if I become a monsignor this thread will hopefully be dug way back into the pits of this forum, unless of course people insist on making this a hot topic for twenty years. But I do get you what you are trying to say. Thank you.

Whenever you think I am being terrible, I'll show you a thread of mine from Catholic Answers Forums. You'll appreciate my current state so much more.
