An Idea: Mix G+ Hangout, D&d, And Catholics

I had this crazy idea. I am looking to find some Catholics to play D&D with. Or really, to teach me how to play first, and then play with.

I don't know of any in MN.

I know some of you are Catholic and like D&D.

Through the magic of the internet, I believe we could make this happen.

Thoughts?

My uncle used to play D&D... My dad told me it was bad so I assumed he was correct and never even bothered to learn what it was about. Now, I am very curious.

From what I've heard, it depends 100% on the people you play with, which is why I think it would be fun to play with some phatmassers (especially Arf, he's just too razzle for the dazzle)

My sister and some of her friends used to play. I never did though. I'd be interested if we could find someone who knows how to play.

I didn't think of this before, but it will depend on how much I'm going to be working. I have no idea what sort of hours I'll be working or how many hours per week, and I doubt my boss' 80-something and 90 year old parents, who I'll be taking care of, will want to learn... :P

I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask?

Or... maybe... yeah, I'm not asking. :|

But I WILL find out as much as I can about the game, even if it's not enough to teach us all how to play. :)

Or here's another idea, find someone who already knows how to play but isn't on PM and then get them to join PM. Win-win right? New PMer and someone who can help us out!

I have played D&D in various forms since it was a die and paper game, now you can buy it for the computer with graphics and online play. It takes a long time to become a paladin or an evil necromancer though.

DUDE I'M TOTALLY FREAKING IN!! D&D is like all I do, man. I play a lot with my bro and his friends. It would be totally amazing to play with some Phatmassers!

Edit: Methinks I have just volunteered to run the game?
