Annie12
Actually, the one you quoted is part of the condemned version. The text of the actual secret Melanie gave is quite different. S.
oh my bad!
Skinzo
oh my bad!
Don't worry Annie, it's a common mistake. I made it myself once. Then I learned to be skeptical. S. Edited July 3, 2012 by Skinzo
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
and i just wan't to add, again only my opinion and possibly or probably divine revelation and outside of ball park of church doctrine on the matter, but i do believe when jesus said "your only sign will be jonah" I had someone tell me that that was talking about or lord jesus' descent into sheol and rising on the 3rd day after his crucifixion, i can accept this but further more he said that "truth is a double edged sword." and this leads me to believe there can be multiple meanings for any paticular verse, probably not all due to the pope speaking infalibly on matters of faith and morals upon some biblical doctrine unsure whether the jonah verse is one of them but here i go and my opinion again so pray about it think about it talk about it... This is my opinion of prophetic words of doom/justice, i kinda tend to think jesus was also talking about the prophet jonah and how the LORD said he was going to destroy ninevah and eventually jonah got to distribute the prophetic doom message to them and he did and they repented so GOD didn't destroy, now jonah was really peeved about this and got angry with GOD thinking him to be a lier i assume, but all in all GOD didn't lie because he was going to destroy them if they didn't repent, he just for whatever reason didn't add "if they repent i will save them from my judgement." I believe not all doomsday prophecy is fullfilled by utter destruction, sometimes or possibly most of the time it is fullfilled by repentance. And also some prophetic doomsays are localised to i assume like sodom and gomorah and ninevah. This is all just a laymens understanding of the holy word, and i've only read the o.t maybe twice and the n.t a few times. And as per usuall my mummble jumble will have to be decipherd some how. Don't shoot the messenger LOL
Annie12
Hmmm... that is an interesting take on that. I do have one compleatly random question though. Is there an interpretation of what the 12 tribe of Israel are in revelation???? I have always wondered this.
