MissyP89
I LOVE Kohl's. And Target is pretty good too. I know we did have a Fashion Bug but I'm not sure if it's still around. Not sure how I feel about wearing boy shorts -- I'm determined to find something out there meant for women. I shouldn't have to wear men's clothes to be modest. PhuturePriest
On a note unrelated to the actual topic but it is being talked about, before my sister decided to wear all skirts eons ago (About five years ago) she would wear guy jeans. She said they were more comfortable and practical. Apparently jeans for women are really tight, which comes as no shock to me. I don't know how women even run in those things. It's hard enough to kick in my jeans. I have no clue how a woman would ever defend herself in those things.
xTrishaxLynnx
Pretty much all of the shorts I have ever bought myself are from Kohl's. They seem decent quality (I've had some for 5 years now...wow, I feel old. I did NOT realize it had been that long!). Otherwise, TJ Maxx is a good place to try. You never know what you might find there, and it's usually good quality stuff for not so much money.
What's crazy is, I remember you showing me the ones you got, about 5 years ago, but it feels like yesterday! Does that make us old? I do love it when clothes last me that long, though. Shirts never last me long because I either ruin them myself, or they get ruined in the wash somehow.
Yeah definitely not most women's hips. We're all built differently, though, and some can wear them comfortably. I know a girl who never bought her own jeans or shorts because she'd wear her husband's, until she had a baby. She wore maternity clothes for months afterward, waiting for her body to go back to "normal," but it never did.
Well, it now explains why those shirts I bought at the same time as the shorts are worn out...I was getting irritated with them. But hey, if they lasted 5 years, I guess I can't really complain. LOL
Yeah definitely not most women's hips. I was stuck in a weird in-between stage between "juniors" and "women's" and nothing ever fit right. Now I can still wear a good deal of my old clothes, but when I want new stuff, I will actually be able to shop in the women's and not have it all fit funny, and not get weird looks for being in the juniors dept.
