I heard that below a certain point, it doesn't really make a difference. If your HI is only 100, thank God! Although, it works a lot the same with heat. After about 105, it all feels the same to me.
If you lived in Tarrant you wouldn't say this.

That OTHER county is so razzle dazzle...

My brother has a pool and he is only 3 miles away. I told him to stock up on the beer.

I'm jealous. We have a couple pools we can hit up... I was going to buy a membership but they almost tripled the price from last year (at the outdoor pool) so I decided forget that garbage, bought the kids a bigger kiddie pool and we'll hit up the free pool at the gym or go to the beach on weekends.

I'm glad I live in sunny Florida. We might have months of 90's but we never have days of 105+.

Let me say it in another way... If you live in a place with below zero temps in the winter, you should be rewarded with summer days in the 80s.

and NOT 100s like it is today. THIS IS Pennsylvania!!! It should never be 100 of any degrees!!!!

Whatever. Y'all are all whiners.

(I went the whole summer last year without air conditioning (in my car) and drove several thousand miles in that time. We tied our 1980 record for consecutive days at or over 100 degrees (42 days). We had something like 71 or 72 days of 100+ and we broke some records with the highs on those days. The ACTUAL temperature was, if my memory serves me, usually around 105-107. Obviously it felt much worse than it was and a lack of AC really made it awful.)
I keep telling you, I'd be more impressed if you were just one county to your west. Everyone knows that your county is rather chillier.
