I've just had to pay a huge accommodation bill that I wasn't expecting at all, and because I wasn't expecting it (and I had no letter about it in advance) there wasn't enough money in my account when the university tried to take it out. The bank is going to charge me a £25 penalty fee for that.

I feel really guilty about all this, as I've had to rely on my parents to help me through this degree and it was expensive enough without this. Please pray that I will manage my finances more sensibly in future, and also pray that I am able to start working regularly soon. I passed all my first aid training back in February (yes, February) but my employer didn't send out my employee ID until the week before last, and I still haven't got the name of my line manager or heard anything about shifts. I'm going to be working as a substitute, so I know I'm not top priority, but this is ridiculous - especially considering that I interviewed for the position back in October!
