The too-small disposables - (maybe trim them first and) insert them as liners(?) into the ones that do fit. When they're soiled, reline the main diaper with another insert.

In place of pins - DUCT TAPE!

Just thinking off the top of my head. Do you have towels, bed sheet(s), etc you can part with? If so, cut into pieces and fold each piece until you think it is think enough to not get the diaper too soiled. Just throw away the cut pieces of cloth when soiled. That should allow you to stretch out the cloth diapers.

These would have been my suggestions as well.

Glad to see you've got some options lined up! Being stuck diaperless would have been a PITA.

You haven't been visited by any wandering zoo animals, have you?

We are good. The basement is pretty much dry. The ceiling stopped leaking as soon as the rain stopped. Our back yard is swampy, but will dry out. In the 3 floods we've experienced in the past 3 years we've been very blessed to not have had any major problems. Lots of people here were not so lucky. If you all would keep the residents of northern MN in your prayers as we recover from this flood. It's really not something you expect when you live on a city built on the side of a hill. And it was record amounts of rainfall. When we moved here, I had even commented that this year we shouldn't have to worry about the flooding like in North Dakota. At least in Bismarck, there was some warning. This came out of nowhere, and even with warning, there wasn't much anyone could've done. :ohno:

I am so happy this week is supposed to be sunshiny, every day but Thursday. Our lawn desperately needs to be mowed, but every time my husband is able to mow, its raining! And I need to catch up on laundry, and clothes smells so much better hung outside instead of in the basement!

I also love that the seal had the fitting name of Feisty!
