Papist
The to-be James Webb space telescope, a large, infrared-optimized space telescope. It is not build yet. Planned launch is 2018. NASA is antipating that this telescope will find the first galaxies that formed in the early Universe, connecting the Big Bang to our own Milky Way Galaxy. It will peer through dusty clouds to see stars forming planetary systems, connecting the Milky Way to our own Solar System. Its instruments will be designed to work primarily in the infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum, with some capability in the visible range. The model is constructed mainly of aluminum and steel, weighs 12,000 lb., and is approximately 80 feet long, 40 feet wide and 40 feet tall. The model requires 2 trucks to ship it and assembly takes a crew of 12 approximately four days. This model has traveled to a few sites since 2005. The photographs below were taken at some of its destinations.

Papist
This is a functional heating unit. I was instantly attracted to the Electrolux fire canister, currently in concept and designed by Camillo Vanacore. Covered in a newly-discovered wonder ceramic, the canister initially appears an opaque beige. Turn on the fire, however, and the ceramic becomes transparent as the heat increases. As the heat dies down, the ceramic returns to its former state. What is also razzle dazzle is looking at galaxies with different fiddlers on a telescope. Especially between the B and R fiddlers. In the B fiddler the newer stars will show up and in the R the older stars show up. Really razzle dazzle. I'll have to share some of the images I took once I clean them up.
