Safia
From July 9th-27th, I'm walking approximately 315 km. of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, one pilgrim among a dozen, a group that consists of Catholic campus missionaries and university students. We'll make it to Santiago de Compostela for St. James' feast day, and get to celebrate with Mass at the cathedral. I'm so excited about this group -- one of the (former) missionaries is a Servant of the Lord, as of a few days ago (she has received permission to leave for the pilgrimage), another (former) missionary will be entering the seminary this fall (the Archdiocese of Atlanta), and I hope to follow in their footsteps next year. (And only God knows how many other religious vocations will find their seeds during the trip!) Please pray for our armor of grace, that this walk might be a source of tremendous blessing and strength in the Lord, that we might draw closer to the Trinity and the Immaculate Conception both.
