Whoa - I would make a trip up to Montreal just to see that Cathedral! It's so beautiful, it almost looks fake. Thanks Lynne!

I'll be making a lot of trips there next year since it's going to be only 2 hours from my school and my best friend will be living in Montréal!...:D:D:D:D

Maybe I'll send you a postcard! ;)

During my summer of my Junior Year, I plan on going to canda to go to the following shrines:

Holy Martyr Shrine
St. Anne Shrine
The one in this picture
And any other shrine I find out about.

When I get my licence will be the start of growing in my spirituality.

I can drive to Robinsonville where a marian apparation occured, and that is only 45 miles away from where I live.

I am gonna go to Massachusetts for the Divine Mercy Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday.

Wow! That cathedral is drop dead gorgeous! I think y'all should post pictures of some of the most beautiful Catholic churches.

God bless,

Jennifer

P.S. Here's a panoramic look at my friend's Ukrainian Catholic Church.

I've seen many cathedrals in Europe. You know, very rarely does a picture do a cathedral justice. But that one does a good job of it.

The Basilica of San Marco at the Piazza San Marco in Venice is really gorgeous. Too bad they wouldn't let me take pictures in it. ^_^

I agree!! It was soooo beautiful! I saw it in March 2000 when we visited Venice. The crooked floor was kind of freaky though.

Hey Rev if you plan on going on that pilgrimidge through Canada you should come to Winnipeg too where the other shrine in Canada is as well there are only two in Canada and the other one is in Winnipeg. Also you could drive through Saksatchewan going to all of the old Ukraninan Catholic Churchs that roam the praries it really is beautiful.

I've been to this Church! Last summer a friend and I took a day trip to Montreal and we went to mass here. It was in French, and we kept joking we were gonna get SARS and then have to rely on Canadians who speak french to help us! We would have been doomed!

Lol, anyway . . . it really is beautiful . . . and all the shrines on the side . . . gorgeous absolutely gorgeous!

Yeah, it looks fantastic, our Cathedral looks nothing like that, but it's getting a renovation soon.

Well you all beat me to locating it, but I can add that Celine Dion was married here a while back! She's like the youngest of 13 kids!

Can somebody make this into wallpaper with the caption being

"how lovely is Thy dwelling place O Lord"
