OnlySunshine
I still haven't been able to get my car to run smooth again. Ever since we had those few days last week where it poured rain, my car has been running very rough and lost engine power. I just thought that it was a buildup of condensation and would go away after running it around the block but it seems to be getting worse. Last night, my mom suggested that I may have water in my gas tank. She had the same problem once and what I'm experiencing is very similar. I did some research and I discovered that, if you keep your tank half full or below, the water mixes with the gas and can run through the lines, choking your engine. That would explain everything I've been experiencing. I'm hoping to run by the do-it-yourself auto shop to get a bottle of gas dryer and I'm hoping that will work. Otherwise, I'm going to have the fuel fiddler changed (which is also cheap). Please pray it works and I don't have a hefty bill because of a major problem! So far, even though this car is 20 years old, I've never had a major problem with it other than my water pump pulley falling out (which happens with this brand).
