ilovechrist
If the bands were singing about being pro-abortion I could understand, but most of them aren't proclaming this belief to the world.
well... a lot of them are starting to proclaim it.. if you watched the Pro-abortion walk at all, many of them were there -_-
Archbishop 10-K
Dude! All those guys are pro-abort? That's extremely depressing. How does one learn their stances on abortion, though?

Theologian in Training
I don't know if I agree with the logic of this thread. Granted, we should not buy their music as it may support abortion in some way, though Rock For Life never shows how. However, does this mean we should not longer listen to the radio because we are supporting a radio station that plays those that are pro-abortion? Does this mean that we should never buy a CD/Mp3 as the case may be by any of those artists? Further, by this logic, are we to no longer watch tv, since many companies and stations support abortion? Does this mean that we should no longer watch Will and Grace (I can't stand the show, personally) or does it mean that we shoud not longer watch qwerty Eye (another show I have no interest in watching) because they support homosexuality? I guess I need to understand two things before I can protest these bands. One, how do they definitively oppose abortion and in what way, and the other, how do we know where our money goes after purchasing a Cd / Mp3 by the artist, as the case may be? Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating a pro-choice stance, I just need to see how and where RFL got their stats before I can, personally, completely reject all of the aforementioned bands. Besides, where does it stop? Wal-Mart supports abortion in some way, and, if I am not mistaken, so does Target. Can we really boycott every person and place? If so, what do you have left? A toothbrush, comb, a couple pairs of pants, a few shirts, and 2 CD's? I guess I am misunderstanding the logic. If so, I apologize God Bless
Crusader_4
So lets take this thread somewhere else how can we as phatmassers fight or protest these bands promotion of abortion perhaps obviously not buying CDS what other ways do you feel are effective that we can do besides the obvious (mailing letters, etc)
RandomProddy
i have a friend who thinks a baby in the womb is a parasite ,that its not even living until its been born ,and she said if she was pregnant she would abort it
First off, hi! If she thinks that a baby in a womb is a parasite then assume she is a parasite to Mother Nature. In other words, if it starts raining, don't give her a coat
OwNeD_byGoD
I AM PRO-LIFE just to start off, but i dont agree with this thread, because yes, i agree that abortion is completely wrong under any circumstance, however, it is a mortal sin just as is lust, so now are we going to boycott all bands and actors who are pro fornication, pro pornography, etc. If i were one of those, non catholic, pro abortion band and something like this came up i would see it as an attack against me and see it as you guys being close minded, because i would be the close minded one, if you really want to get the point across to those artists, inform them, make a petition, send them letters no offense of course, i support Pro-Life to the fullest, even have a hat and shirt and all
