[/quote] I still use a little AP white flour with the whole wheat in some things so it's not so thick, though I was SUPER EXCITED to discover that they now make whole wheat white flour in the brand we use! Does your wife grind her own wheat? [/quote] I do know she grinds it. But I do not know in what form she buys it in. There are times when I bite into her bread that it feels like biting some sand. It really hate that. She and the kids don't experience that. Perhaps I bite harder than normal. I do think she started to strain(or something) it to reduce the gritty grains.
