I'm not in favor of the war, I'm simply curious as to what his reasons were. My parents are in favor of it and it might help during discussions if I can tell them something other than "Well, the Pope condemned it, so... yeah." CatherineM Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 The Pope was opposed to the War in Iraq because it did not meet the requirements of Just War.
