LinaSt.Cecilia2772
Kujo, I know I don't know you very well, but know that I am praying for you and your fiancee. Many of us here have gone through a severe loss in many different ways, and know that there is absolutely no burden in prayer. Prayer is meant for peace, serenity, hope, love, help, and guidance, not for burden. It is the best way to help, because the one helping you is the almighty comforter. Praying that His arms wrap around Amanda, you, and your family. You are never alone my Brother. Peace in Christ, Lina
AnneLine
Hang in there, Kujo... we're still here and still praying for you. Glad your mother was able to be there for you -- takes a real man to be willing to let others be there. Continuing to hold you and Amanda in my heart.... let us know if/as we can be here for you.... Amppax
I'll be praying for you man. If you need anything, we're all here. Don't think that asking for help when you need it is selfish, we're all here for you.
franciscanheart
Yeah. Again, there are times in your life when your mom is just the only thing that can get you through. I sorta pride myself on not pulling the mom card, so to speak, very often. I think a man ought to stand on his own 2 feet. Nevertheless, I don't know what I would've done last night if she wasn't here to look after me. I spent the day with her and she bought me some lunch and dinner..and more scotch. She was great, and I just left her. Kinda felt like I needed to come home and be by myself tonight. Heading back to work tomorrow, and I believe Amanda will be setting up a meeting with some sort of counselor tomorrow as well. Thanks for everything, guys. Don't know how many times I can say that...
Start now and I'll count. This can be one. 1... Just kidding. I'm glad your mom was a comfort to you, and I hope you continue to feel comfort moving forward. Same for Amanda. Love you, bro. I should also add that her job fired her yesterday after all of this stuff. Sorta smells of elderberries but it wasn't unexpected. This girl is like a machine and had never missed a day of work in her life. She changes jobs, gets pneumonia and then this happens. She ended up calling out a few days and they just dropped her. ...then she applied and got an interview at our local public library

MIKolbe
Kujo You have my prayers. We 'talked' about this, so I won't repeat myself. just know I love you both, and am asking Him if I could have life a little rougher so that you two can have it a little easier. Your requests don't burden me nor anyone. You ain't heavy, you're my brother. Pax, Jason
