Diggety
I'm downloading the atmosphere demo right now. I took a couple 3d classes in college and had autocad in high school, so I'll at least take a look at it and see if looks do-able... -clockwork

ryanmeyersmusic
dude if i had any time whatsoever i'd volunteer my time and abilities to something like this, but i am way overbooked... the site you showed me last week just used shockwave technology... i wonder if you couldn't search around for some starting point for something like that and work up from it... I know that some people design 3d in 3dstudiomax and import it into flash...
L5
I'll find some time. I have 3D Studio MAX and I used to do a lot of 3D stuff but a lot less recently. Do you remember the beginnings of a church that I built?
dUSt
I'll find some time. The thing is, I'm pretty sure Atmosphere will allow you to import things from other 3D programs. I agree that Shockwave would be the way to go, but I wouldn't even know where to begin with all that. So, if we were to make this happen, so far, the only two options I see are: - Adobe Atmosphere - Shockwave Anybody know of another program or example of an online 3D community? Thy Geekdom Come
I don't have that software, but I was an architecture student for a while...I love design... If the software is legitimately free, then I'll help as much as possible...

crusader1234
I still think habbo would eb cheapest and we could make our own chapel since they dont have one... haha There was just an article about 3d chatting environments in TIME magazine. Paladin D
That would be a great idea! Unfortunately, I don't do 3D.
dUSt
Hmmm... Found a site that lists all kinds of different 3D world places. I'm still thinking Adobe Atmosphere would be the most possible option for phatmass. http://www.virtualworldsreview.com/index.shtml Anything else would require signing up with a third party company to use their technology.
