Does anyone think that fast-food places will sue since they won't be able to super-size drinks anymore? :P

Nah they'll just make more money. Small's will be 6 oz, mediums 8 oz, large 12 oz, and supersize 16 oz! SOOOO BIG!

I can kind of see the argument since 64 ounce drinks are 800 calories, nearly half of your daily calorie intake, but again, this is the government meddling in our lives. I personally have drank more pop than a person should drink in their entire life time. I used to drink nothing but pop from when I was four onwards, and I'm talking a twelve pack in just a few days. I never drank water. I wouldn't be surprised if my heart and liver have suffered just a tiny bit from that. Because of all this I have made the conscious decision of doing intense workouts everyday and drinking less pop because although I am not and have never been even slightly on the heavy side I do value my heart. However, all of this, the less pop intake and intense workouts, were all my conscious decisions, not the government's. I think that's simply how things should go. If people want to eat unhealthy food and drink so much pop their heart explodes, that's their decision. I think it's a very bad one, but it is their decision. I think if our government wants to meddle in making a healthier America it should start with making healthy foods less expensive. The cost between healthy meals and a McDonald's "meal", if we should be so brave as to call it actual food, is staggering. I recommend gardening. We had a garden for a while and even though we didn't have much we had vegetables running out of our ears. We had to throw a lot of it away because there was so much.

In New York City, Mayor Bloomberg holds that it is a 15 year old's choice to have an abortion, because it is her body and her choice. However, he now wants to ban soft drinks of larger than 16 ounces due to obesity...so while it's your body and choice in Bloomberg-land to have a life ending surgery, it apparently isn't your choice for your body to drink a 17 ounce or above soda.

Mayor bloombergs new nick name is hippo crypt , he is trying to slay innocent babies as a right to choice yet will not give free choice to hippos.

Gay men wouldn't all have such bright picturesque smiles if they drank soda like the rest of us.

Sounds like Mexico. Seriously, go to McDonald's in Mexico City, and order a Grande Meal. It's about the same size as an American Happy Meal.
