Dave
I found this on the Clements family page: Dear Mr. President: I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically: 1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick. Are there any others that we should know about? 2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until they were about 10 or so to discuss it with them, but now they know more about it than I did as a senior in college. 3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "IS" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex and one person may have sex while the other one involved does NOT have sex. 4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie, "Wag The Dog", was not only plausible..... it HAPPENED. 5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral. 6. Thank you for the 72 House and Senate witnesses who have plead the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democrat campaign fund raising. 7. Thank you for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonment's from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions in the other "Clinton" scandals. 8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips, on the backs of us taxpayers. Please give my regards to Hillary, when (or if) you see her. Tell her I'm working on a "Thank You" letter for her....

Carrie
JMJ, i agree with you there. Although Clinton wasn't the greatest, I'd take him over Bush anyday.
Dave
Blondewithabrain and Carrie: I don't understand how you can give high marks to a dishonest, adulterous president who supported allowing babies to be killed. It makes whatever accomplishments he made as president moot. Whatever you think of George W. Bush, whether you approve or disapprove of what he does, he still has morals! littleflower+JMJ
JMJ, i agree with you there. Although Clinton wasn't the greatest, I'd take him over Bush anyday. thats NOT me carrie!! i have JPII as my avatar!! yeah right! me a clinton lover! i don't think so!! i dont' like Clinton! i think he was an awful president...yeah, he had a pretty picture around him but it was all filled with deception.....and he fully supported abortion while pardoning half the prisoners in jail....don't make sense to me, nothing good in that.... think about it, there is definitly more than what meets the eye and what the media and the president really is.... i thank God we have Bush as our president everyday....Bush is the only one keeping our country from total chaos and insanity, i shudder to think what would be happening if anyone else was president right now... we must always pray for our gov. officials, they need prayers so much.. :(
VanHooty
I thought Clinton was okay from an environmental and economic standpoint. Morally... eh... I think you've all covered that pretty well.
Jake Huether
"our nation was in a prosperous state during his presidency." I thought Clinton was okay from an environmental and economic standpoint. These things are for the pagans to run after! I'd rather our country become third-world and me personally being forced to share a shack with 10 other couples, than to have the blood of 45 million children on my countries hands. On top of that our government has sent countless souls to hell because of it's liberal agenda. It's support of the gay lifestyle. It's support of "womens liberation", which means that pre-teens can wear thong bikinies without mothers flinching an eye. This is a short short time compared with eternity. Great! I have a job, and I don't have to smell carp on the streets, nor do I have to struggle to eat or drink. But the torment I endure walking in a mall, or struggling to keep off certain websites, or to flip quickly pass several channels on the TV in order to avoid the near occasion of sin. Okay, so my gov. has helped me to be physically happy. Big friggen deal. It's feeding my soul poison by the minute. What about my children!? What about my brother and sister. Will my daughter be a pregnant pre-teen. Will my son be a pre-teen father. Worse yet, will they be "pro-choice". What has society taught my family about morals, about how to get to heaven. That's success. carp on our economy. Our economy won't play the least part in getting me, my children, or my family to heaven. GW Bush may be dumb, but the Lord will make geniuses of the learned. And the dumb he will make wise.
mp15
C'mon...................GW is far from being dumb. You can not do half the things he has done in his life and be called dumb. A poor public speaker maybe but definitely not dumb. Heck, I'm a poor communicator also, but I do not consider myself dumb. The left calls him that because they don't like him pure and simple. I would take a thousand GW's before I would take one Klinton. Edited August 21, 2003 by mp15
Kilroy the Ninja
I agree with mp cmom. George W is anything but dumb. Many people claim that Clinton was brilliant and one of the smartest men ever to hold the office of Presidency. But really, how smart was the guy to be caught with his pantaloons down? "I'm the most powerful man in the Western free world. I think I'll have a "thing" with a dumb young intern who probably doesn't have a real life..." What, you don't think Clinton thought this way before he acted? My point exactly. He didn't think. How smart is that?
Chrysologus
What's to gain in bashing our last president? He did a fine job.
littleflower+JMJ
i don't know but "fine" is not the word that comes to mind when i think of clinton but then that could just be me..........
