OnlySunshine
It seems fitting that I should post this here after just celebrating the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary. I am patiently awaiting a meeting with my pastor to get the information about the order I am discerning with and also what I need to do in order to get my psychological evaluation. He got this information right before Easter and it has been sitting on his desk for almost two months. I've reminded him about 3 times, but still haven't gotten an answer to when we can meet. About a week ago, I kind of lost my patience with the process and almost gave up completely. Fortunately, after some prayer and Bible Study, I abandoned my will to God and asked Him for the strength to wait for the next step. Please pray that I can be a faithful disciple of God and wait on His perfect timing. It is never easy to wait for something when you are excited to proceed, but I know God has His reasons for making me wait. Patience and fortitude are two of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and I need them in abundance.
