After watching this video and seeing some other promotional material I must say it looks pretty epic. Thoughts?

(BTW being new here I should probably put it out there that I am a big movie buff)

My mother and I went up to Madison, WI to see it yesterday after we went to Adoration.
It was "epic" in the truest sense of the word. The acting was wonderful and I cried a few times. It gave me a lot to think about. Peter O'Toole as Padre Cristobal gave a wonderful performance, and so did the person who played Blessed Jose'.
I wonder if my Confessor's going to see it at any time. He's something of a self-proclaimed movie buff.

There was a downside: we went around the middle of the day, so there were only 17 people or so, and I was the only one under 20. And my mom was the only adult there younger than 60. Hopefully there were more people at later showings.

Anyone else seen this movie? Saw it last night and have to say was impressed. Acting was good, the cast was great. Peter O'Toole, Andy Garcia, and didn't even recognize eva longoria until they rolled the credits at the end. I need to see if there are any books or documentaries about this conflict.

I went and watched it yesterday. Very intense, action-packed. The acting was good. I'd definitely recommend it but definitely only for older teens.

It was an amazing movie. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 1, but Rotten Tomatoes has proved it lacks credible mental capacity anyway, so I don't care what those mixed bags of nuts think.

I saw on Friday. It was a good movie and I really liked it. Some of the scenes made me get all emotional, though. Like this:

I watched it Saturday evening with my family and some friends. We love it! And at the end of the movie we yelled, "Viva Cristo Rey... Que VIVA!" It was so fun, we have a great audience! We got emotional too, Clare, trying to fight the tears ;) There was a post on FB about Jose BlackSheep, I can find it for you.. hold on a seck

For The Greater Glory != the actual title of the movie. Remove "the".

Otherwise I will say "For The Greater Glory... OF BACON!!"

I honestly didn't get emotional. The only time I get emotional was during fight scenes, though that was more adrenaline than actual emotion. I'm going to make the best Priest ever.
