Hm... I seest a pattern, my liege. It hath occurred to me that our fair maiden Lil' Red always likes your posts as opposed to mine... Now that I thinkest about the matter, she seems to like everyone's post that conveys a joke against me but rarely takes a liking to mine even if they art quite humorous in nature...

And unfortunately I must decline thy offer. I wish not to playest a game with thee. Rather, I merely wished to point out I was not at fault.

Okay, I'm going to help you with some aspects of EModE which appear to trouble you:
-One does not use the -(e)st conjugation with the first person. It would be akin to saying: I wish not to plays a game with thee. The -(e)st is to be used with the second person familiar only.
-Same with "they art". That's just not right.
-Don't mix forms of you and forms of thou. Pick one and stick with it.

I do realize not to incorrectly use the -(e)st.

Jesus uses many forms of you and thou, so I do the same. After all: What would Jesus do?

To adapt a saying about the bagpipes:
A gentleman is one who knows how to use EModE, but refrains anyway.

I am not a gentleman or ever desire to be one.

I am a woman and don't sass me or else!

Yes, of course there are times to use one or the other. I assume that you do not speak Spanish, French, German, or any other language that makes the T-V distinction?

You mean how would Jesus speak? Not do...

Jesus can't do Aramaic, Hebrew, Latin, or Greek....he spoke it!

I speak limited German and enough French to mock the language. Why dost thou ask?

Because if you did speak any of those languages, you'd know that you wouldn't use tu/du and vous/Sie while addressing the same person.
