OnlySunshine
I was looking ahead to see what Holy Days of Obligation were coming up and I noticed that the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8th) falls on a Saturday this year. Does this mean that it follows the Monday or Saturday rule and is abrogated? My diocese's webpage was unclear, so I am unsure as to if we are required to attend Mass on Saturday night and then on Sunday morning.
CatherineM
I found out when moving to Canada that feast days are very localized. The best thing to do is call the church and ask your priest. He'd know more about the local rules than we would.
