I've been sick for almost a week now with flu-like symptoms. I went to the doctor on Monday and he gave me antibiotics but failed to be clear about what the illness actually is. There has been no real improvement.

I've missed two days of uni and am set to miss another one today. I've missed my usual daily Mass and weekly Adoration, and I wasn't able to go to Mass last Sunday either. My head and body ache whenever I move, so I'm either stuck in bed, reading or on the computer. I have essays and assignments due in the next few weeks that I seriously need to focus on, but I can't work for very long. I'm pushing myself to get things done, but it just tires me. I can't do anything around the house to help my family - they won't let me, for one thing, but I also cough over everything and so don't want to get them sick.

I know I'm probably being a Complaining Christine about all this, but I just need to get it off my chest (literally). Please pray that I can get over this illness and get back to uni, back to Mass and back to helping my family very soon. Blessings to you all.
