For A Few Who Have Passed From This Life

In no particular order:

Vincent, a friend's Papaw, who lost his battle with cancer this morning. Please pray for the repose of his soul, for his wife of 66 years, and all who loved him. May the Lord be present in their time of grief.

My mom's supervisor's sister who was killed in a car accident. She was speeding - something completely atypical for her - and hit a median. The car was split in half upon impact and her body was badly mangled. There is reason to suspect she had been harmed before getting in her car and racing down a highway to meet her 22-year-old son for dinner in another part of town. Please pray for the repose of her soul, for her possible attacker, and for all who grieve her loss. May the Lord be present in their time of grief.

For my friend Amelia who died Friday. She suffered an asthma attack and seizures and passed away from this world much too soon. I will miss her terribly. Her common sense approach to life, humor, and compassion were remarkable and deeply comforting to me. Please pray for the repose of her soul and for all who mourn her. May the Lord be present in our time of grief.
