AnneLine Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Mon... I met my future husband on a retreat.... my back went out, and he was nice enough to drive me home and carry in my stuff for me. We both were discerning religious life at that point, and became VERY good friends and support for each other while we discerned... and when it became clear that God did NOT want us in religious lifee.... well.... you can guess what we finally figured out! But BOTH of us are glad that we let God have first dibs on us.... Praying you will enjoy the retreat, and that you will choose whatever will make you and God happiest!
