Please pray for my home country. It seems that people are determined to throw catholicism out altogether. Hard to argue with them with all the horrific revelations of abuse. They're trying to bring abortion in, ordinarily as our constitution protects the unborn there should be a referendum but they're trying to get it in by a private members bill saying that women's lives are at risk. The fact that Ireland is still the safest country in the world for a woman to have her baby and that maternal death is almost unheard of seems to have gone unnoticed.
