Prayers For The Repose Of A Soul

Please say some prayers for a woman that I knew ever since I was a little girl. She was the next door neighbor of my paternal grandparents. She was in declining health for several years. The last time I talked to my Nana on Easter, her neighbor was unable to speak and was stuck in the hospital. She was slowly losing the will to live and fight her illness. She lost the battle on April 14th, 2012 (last Saturday). I just found out that she passed today after seeing her obituary.

The woman was a very sweet lady and I still remember how she used to dress up like a clown for church festivals and bring me and my sister Chocolate Chex Mix (so good!). My sister and I used to play with her Rottweiler, Lizzy, all the time. I hadn't seen the neighbor in several years. She withdrew from church because of how sick she was. It was so sad.

Please pray for her family. She left behind a husband and a sister. I am praying that she is in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, freed from the bonds of her illness. She was a beautiful singer in the church choir at her Methodist Church that she attended with my grandmother before she was sick.
