Brother Adam
Yeah, I didn't actually check with the township offices but there are chickens and goats near us, so I am assuming we are fine. Our land, before the parcel was split up, was a chicken farm.
TheresaThoma
Duckies! My mom currently has 8 duck eggs in her incubator in her classroom and I can't wait for them to hatch. She brings them home over the weekends and I get to play with them. Then after a couple of weeks they go to a farm.

PaladinSoG
You may know this already but here is something helpful for you and your ducklings. This is primarily knowledged gained from my past experience with all my ducks. When you go to release your ducks outside, place them in a cage that is big that they can be in the center with plenty of room all around and then leave them in it several times prior to fully letting them out. It will get them aquainted with all the local varmits WITHOUT turning them into chow. Otherwise they never really learn what to run from since they don't actually have a momma around to show them. I happened to loose a whole batch of like 8 ducks that way. Every night one would go missing until there was none left. Just something you may like to know though I don't know your over all plan or what your surrounding are like.
tinytherese
Since I attended Cottey College, I'm a fan of ducks! They're the senior mascot, (it was a two year school whether you were either a freshman or senior.) If our freshmen babies ever said duck then we were to prank them. They had to say "waterfowl" instead of duck. Oh how I miss Cottey!
