"christian" Bumper Stickers

I have a job where I drive so I'm always looking at bumper stickers. The most popular sticker is the "Not of this world" sticker -- both in words and abbreviated.

I've always felt that it was a little too self-centered because there's the implied (I am) "Not of this world".

And another popular sticker is the "Coexist" sticker -- with the letters made with symbols from different religions. It got me thinking that a good bumper sticker would be the phrase "Love thy neighbor as thyself" surrounded by symbols from the various religions. But when I thought about it a little more I started to reconsider whether I would want that sticker on my own car. Somehow it just doesn't have the "razzle dazzle" vibe like the "Not of this world sticker", or even the "Coexist" sticker.

I have never had a bumper sticker of any kind on my car, for two reasons:
1. I feel like it would reduce me (in the minds of other drivers) to only one concept, and I'm much to complex for that.
2. If I offend someone through my driving, then they'll hate my cause/concept as much as they hate me (for my driving).

If I were ever to put a sticker on my bumper, it might be this one, which I've seen before:

CONTAIN THYSELF!

People do get angry at bumper stickers. When I was living in Utah and working as a truck driver I bought a number of stickers at "Johnson's Corner" -- north of Denver Colorado. I had only had them on my car for about a week when I went shopping and came back from the store to find several scraped off of the bumper in pieces on the ground. However they did leave one bumper sticker -- "I don't suffer from insanity.. I enjoy every moment of it!"

Brother Adam

I have a removable bumper magnet. Makes for great random conversation.

All I know is that people with the "God is my co-pilot" stickers must think that they no longer have to operate the vehicle themselves, because those are usually the crappiest drivers.

The other one I like almost well enough to put on my own bumper is:

Speed on, brother - hell ain't half full yet!
