FutureCarmeliteClaire
I'm just curious what would happen if Ron Paul decides not to run and all the other candidates running are as terrible as Obama and Romney. Will people here not vote in that case?
I suppose some would not vote. If I were old enough to vote, I wouldn't. I doubt that there would be NO ONE running third party who wasn't good, though. Edited April 19, 2012 by FutureCarmeliteClaire
Aloysius
there is no reason to vote if you do not favor any option over any of the other options. if it was my estimation that every person on the ballot was a tool of the same behind the scenes oligarchy that actually rules this country and would therefore not, in effect, do anything differently in any substantial way that matters to me, (ie Romney and Obama), I would write-in a protest vote. either for Winchester or Ron Paul. I was fully prepared to support the Santorum campaign with full force. I understand why he had to drop out, though. Winchester
Ron Paul is just another way for the establishment to ensure that Obama gets another term.
If Ron Paul were controlled by the Establishment, you might have a point. In fact, suggesting Ron Paul as a kind of false flag operation would probably get the conspiracy nuts up in arms.
