If it is art, then I am the Van Gogh of drinking.

Interesting analogy. Because if you're the Van Gogh of drinking, then I think I'm the Picasso of drinking.

The former starts to get just a little fuzzy, but the latter is so trashed you can't even tell what it is anymore!

j/k I haven't been a big drinker the last couple years. A beer or glass of wine occasionally. I just don't have time anymore.

For a minute I thought this was about drinking Catholics....as in guzzling CATHOLICS as cocktails. :paperbag:

I don't think you understand Van Gogh's genius. He developed the impressionist style for a purpose. When his painting stop being blurry, you stop drinking.

I'm sure I don't. A lot of people consider him to have been a genius. And maybe he was.

I'm not saying that his work wasn't good. I'm just making the obvious observation that his more famous works are just a little bit fuzzy. Does that mean that I don't appreciate the art? I'm sure I don't. But that doesn't make it less fuzzy.

Pablo Picasso, on the other hand, is truly bad art. I'm sure some people appreciate his style, but I just think it's hideous. And that other guy, with the paintings of the drippings - it just seems beneath our nature.
