Pax domini bretheren...
If i know all things and have not love, what is it worth. Love understands all things.
Ok. Like i can have sound knowledge of the Holy word and not understand some or most or 50 50. If i say i do not understand most or some of the old and new covenant does not mean i don't believe in all that is contained in the old and new covenants. Am i accountable for my lack of understanding if i persist and seek the truth. And in understanding this am i truely understanding Love. Haters gonna hate isaiah 40:28.
If the rainbow is the signature of God than it is only a portion of all the colors God can see. Not that i believe God is anything goes so to speak,i kind of believe that understanding is more likely to save than knowledge though knowledge helps it can not save, St paul warns us to beware of those whom preach knowledge. I don't know help me out guys the cats got my tounge and i can't quite regurgitate what i have digested :)

God bless you all.
Onward christian souls.
God is Love,God is Good,God Saves.
Jesus is LORD.

Knowledge is good, understanding is better, and wisdom is the best. I think that if you are seeking to understand then that is the key part...not how much you have understood. It is also important to recognize our individual faults and lack of understanding and wisdom, and to look toward the magisterium of the church for guidance in what we have not truly understood yet (the assumption is that with true understanding we already in alignment with the magisterium).

I would not say that a lack of understanding automatically creates a lack of belief. the fact that the knowledge is present helps, but also the OPENNESS to greater understanding is what is more important in this question.

my tongue also seems tied, but I hope I did well enough to get my point across.
