[/quote] I'm in that same boat. I guess it's like our adolescence of Catholicism. We don't really belong anywhere else.

Fides_et_Ratio
I voted cradle catholic, as I was baptized as a baby... however, I've only been a PRACTICING Catholic for almost 2 years (July 1st). Though, I had a 5 month "bump" in the road during those 2 years though I don't know how much that counts, as I still met with my spiritual director. I was crazy like that. So maybe I should say a year and a half, though not consecutively.. but that sounds confusing. Oh well, close enough.

BeenaBobba
I'm a cradle Catholic. I was baptized as a tiny baby. I didn't start getting serious about Catholicism until two years ago, though. That's when I started looking into what the Church really teaches and why. That's when I started becoming an orthodox Catholic instead of a wishy-washy one. Apotheoun
I was brought up in the Methodist Church and converted to Roman Catholicism in 1988, but recently I changed rites and became Byzantine (Ruthenian) Catholic.

shawnee
thanx lil red, i have many catholic friends and my step-daughter and her husband are catholic. my husband is anti-religion. but has been pretty supportive of my decision to become catholic. i'm kinda struggling with the whole political thing right now. i want to do the right thing but i just don't like pres bush. seems like a pretty unpopular stance in this venue. my step-daugher is st catherine. any way guesse i just have to come to terms with it all. i need to start going to church agian, got out of the habit maybe thats why i'm so bummed out i always feel better when i go. crusader1234
Shawnee, I'm a Cradle Catholic and I cant STAND Bush. I love him of course, since Agape is universal... but I really dont like the guy, and thats OK from a Catholic standpoint so don't let that batter your faith. I'm a Cradle Catholic, and growing up we'd kind of go through phases... a few years of attending weekly mass, a few years of not, back and forth. Now, I am definately more religious than ever before.
