A Family Friend

Some of you have prayed before for my mother's college roommate's husband. He's been like an uncle to me, albeit one that doesn't live nearby. Mom hadn't heard an update about his health recently (he's had numerous bouts with cancer, chemo, experimental drug trials, a stem cell transplant, and a bone marrow transplant before.).

Today there was an update on the Caringbridge journal the two of them keep about his health saying that once again all his numbers are down and they're doing more tests trying to determine if the cancer is back again and/or if his body's own immune system is rejecting the bone marrow transplant. Mom's old roommate said she was posting the update because she believes in the power of prayer and that she was hoping he'd be strong enough to hood their youngest daughter at their graduation in May (compared to what we heard earlier about his health, he really must be going downhill for her to sayy that).

So if you all could throw some prayers his way, I'd appreciate it. Thanks Pham.
