Oh, wait, he called me a 'spaghetti monger'. Nevermind. You may carry on.

I agree that taxes are stupid.

My niece won't let me say the word 'stupid' or call anything 'stupid - that's what they're teaching kids in schools these days.

So can I substitute 'taxes' for 'stupid,' as in:

Why do you have to be so taxes all the time? OR

I stubbed my toe on that taxes chair!

It'd be better than ravioli.

'Ay paisano! There's a lot more to Italian cuisine than pasta!

- Olives & olive oils
- Breads
- Salamis and hams (including wild boar, in Tuscany)
- Cheeses
- Balsamic vinegar
- Wines (Brunella, Chianti, Frascati, Montepulciano, Nero d'Avila, Orvieto, Vin Santo)
- Liquors
- Liqueurs (Amaretto, Fra Angelico, Limoncello)
- Fruit (blood oranges! - there'd better be blood oranges in heaven, or I'm not going!)
- Vegetables 'til you can count 'em all, and varieties you'll never see in the States
- Biscotti, cassata

I gotta go - I'm hungry...

I'm not sure why my husband wants me to do them. I have fallen on my head. Of course our old tax preparer had schizophrenia and he thought we were sending him a bomb or poison with our receipts.

Paying taxes is the right thing to do , it's a good thing
Jesus says we can’t have it both ways–if we benefit from secular society, we need to support the infrastructure of society. This can take the form of taxes, military service, jury duty, and informed, conscientious voting.
