Divine Mercy Sunday Delema

Yeah, confession just isn't gonna happen  . Its not that I feel like I'm going to hell or anything but I really just wanted to go since I haven't been in a long time. On top of it all My Mom didn't even bring me during lent! I feel upset at her just a little for gypping me out of Gods graces. I will just have to wait until next divine Mercy Sunday when I go to college ( Not for confession but for the special graces). :paperbag: I wish it didn't have to be that way. I asked my mom to go to the psalm Sunday reconciliation service and she didn't and I asked to go to another one and she said it was only for the little kids in the parish. I don't know why she is like that because besides that she is really devout and active at church. Whatever, I have to stop talking about this before I cry for real...

Annie, please try not to get too upset over this. You CAN get special graces even if you can't get to Confession. You're trying. Jesus knows that. This feast is all about His mercy ... if you ask for it, He won't turn you away.

I understand how parents can cause faith problems, trust me. But getting angry and bitter about it won't fix them and it won't help you, either. I speak from experience here. Do everything you can to love them and grow in grace, but no matter what, trust Him. He'll take care of your soul.

I think God has placed you where He wants you... and you can gain the most graces for yourself and your family but trusting that He knows what is best, and by abandoning yourself to His Mercy. Just keep that focus on loving Him more... and showing that love in little ways... and He will reward that in ways you cannot imagine....

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words of encouragement! Even though I will not make it to confession, I will trust that Jesus will take care of me! Thank you all for being so great! :smile3:

In his conversations with St Faustina, Jesus promised to unleash on the world a flood of mercy. He has been doing so, and he wants to continue to so. All we need to do is keep ever on our lips that prayer that he himself taught to St Faustina: Jesus, I trust in you.
